Handmade Lava Stone Mirror (Indonesia)

I bought this mirror for the dining area. When we first received it, the glass had been shattered by the delivery people. Overstock customer service was great though, and sent me a new one without penalty. When we got the 2nd one, we placed it on the wall facing the window to make the room feel more spacious. The mirror is beautiful and gives a very nature feel to the room. However, it was a hassle to hang. I initially thought I could install a hanging wire onto it, but lava stone is too delicate to hold screws and the back of the frame is a very cheap cardboard-like material that isn't fastened securely. I ended up just hanging it on two long screws and placing some metal supports under the frame secure it. So far so good.

• Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Not really. I was expecting a darker, grayish color, but it's still beautiful.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Lava stone is pretty delicate. The boarded plate on back is not super strong.
• How accurate was the sizing? Accurate.
• Would you recommend this to a friend? Yes

This is a nice looking mirror. I especially like that it is unusual and made of natural materials. I did not give it 5 stars only because there is no mechanism to hang the mirror and will have to figure it out on my own in the future. I purchased this for a children's lakehouse bedroom and the kids think it is the coolest mirror they have ever seen!
