Story Behind the Art:
This footstool was handmade in the Judhpur area in the Rajasthan province of India. It was created by local villagers, specifically Mr. Sanjeed and his family. First, they weave the kilim, making it to the exact dimensions and then upholster onto the handmade sheesham wood frame.

The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

Liked it so much I bought another
Rustic burlap like material, sturdy and well made. The first one I bought had a magic marker mark on it - I could have returned it, but instead they offered me a discount so I'm putting it in a spot that the marking can't be seen. I like this item so much I bought another for another room!
