Story Behind the Art:
: This footstool was handmade in the Judhpur area in the Rajasthan province of India. It was created by local villagers, specifically Mr. Sanjeed and his family. First, they weave the kilim, making it to the exact dimensions and then upholster onto the handmade sheesham wood frame.

We Love Them!!!
Buyer Beware - I have one negative comment. The material can poke or itch the skin if you are wearing thin clothing such as yoga pants. We bought two, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Everyone who comes into the house loves to sit on them, our dogs lay out on them, and they're the perfect height for an informal dinner at the coffee table. Definitely worth the money.

I like kilims and this fits in very well with other kilims and pillow covers in my LR. I got two with slightly different patterns but similar colors, and they look great together in the room.
