Story Behind the Art:
This husband and wife team met traveling in Asia 17 years ago, and have created a socially responsible initiative that supports many artisan groups in Thailand. The clothing from Thailand is organized by a family with whom they have worked for many years. They organize small tailoring groups where the sewers are paid by the piece for their work. No factory or child labor is ever used. Workers are paid higher than average wages and are free to move on at any point. Typically there are waiting lists to become a tailor with their artisan groups. Most of the families they support by this initiative have gone from having no running water to purchasing land, motorized vehicles and sending their children to college.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

Fun Bag
I wanted a fun and roomy bag for the summer. I got it with this bag. The colors were true to the picture. There was plenty of room for all my things...and more. I would have liked an outside pocket for my cell phone. There is an inside zip pocket that works fine, though.For the price...yes, it is a good deal.

CUTE BAG!!
I BOUGHT THESE TWO BAGS FOR MY NIECES (113, 15) IN 2 DIFFERENT COLORS. THE COLORS WERE VIBRANT, BAGS WELL MADE AND STITCHED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE GIRLS LOVED THEM!!

Bag is Flimsy and Probably Not Cotton
I don't think this bag is really cotton. If it is, it's made with some sort of metallic thread running through it. It felt pretty cheaply made, and looked cheap too. O.com was good about accepting a return though.
