Sarongs are individually handcrafted by artists on the exotic islands of Bali and Java in beautiful Indonesia. Sarongs are one of the most versatile and earliest forms of clothing that dates back 1,000s of year and have been utilized around the world in one form or another. These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well known throughout the world for their skill, creativity and expertise. Specifically their skills in batik, which many of our sarongs are made using this art of batik. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.

Classy and rich looking!
This sarong is very classy and rich looking. The greys and blacks are subtle yet striking against the white, white background. Looks great with a tan and is perfect for our trip to the Carribean this winter. I would buy this again!

Excellent Sarong
I bought this sarong for my 1st cruise, set for next Sunday. I am planning to wear this at the Bahamas. I watched a few videos on how to wear sarongs and the material of the fabric is just great, very manageable, Colors are awesome and the quality of the material is just excellent!

Love my Sarong
I purchased this sarong to wear as a dress during my trip to Maui. It was just as I expected. I was impressed with how fast it arrived, which was about 3 days early. The material is extremely soft and the color is just like the image on the site. It is a tiny bit see through since it is white, but I was able to fix that problem easily by wrapping it so the appropriate areas were covered. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a sarong. I am very pleased with mine.

Sarong
I originally wanted to order the same exact product for less than the regular price - granting there is a slight factory defect. I changed my mind and decided to purchase at full price for I did not want it even with a slight factory defect. Upon inspection when I received the product, I received one that has a slight factory defect which is a small run / rip on the material - not very obvious with the design. But still -- the product came with a whole on it. It seems like I was sent one that had a factory defect anyway even if I had paid the full purchase price for it.
