Kailash Chand comes from a small town in Rajasthan. 'My father was a construction worker and his earnings could just manage enough for us. I learned the traditional form of painting called Pichwai painting from a senior artist. I had a good hand,' he says. 'Slowly I started selling my paintings. Later I extended my work to miniature paintings and wooden items. I made boxes and and executed paintings on them. These were decorative as well as useful, and people appreciated my work.'What is Worldstock? The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design.
