Story Behind the Art:
J. Brama, a master drummer from Ghana who makes and tunes his own drums, has organized and taught many drumming circles over the years. He has 10 years experience making drums and his network includes scores of apprentice drummers to train as future drum-makers. The income from his trade goes to educate and support his large extended family.

Great sound and fun and beautifully crafted
It arrived as quickly as I could imagine in great condition beautifully packaged, I had never played a drum before but my friends who do were very impressed with the handsomeness, craftsmanship and sound of the drum. I already recommended it to two friends!

Good for the Price
Great drum for the price. You will need to tune it, but the bass is nice and the color and designs are great. Also, it is very hard to find a drum of this size that is new for this price.

djembe
Packaged very well. The ropes on the Djembe were not of high quality, rather thin and few were strayed. The drum head had a few nicks in it that I hope will not split. Also seemed to have a small patch or plug on on end. The top of the drum was a little uneven. Overall though for the price I was pleased.

Rich, full instrument
The instrument arrived timely, beautifully packaged and in pristine condition. Each time I use it, I discover much more richer, deeper sounds than expected. It is wonderful, great price, can't wait to use it each day.

Great Drum
Just got my drum, it showed up on time and was well packed. It is a very nice looking drum and has a great hand made charm about it. But the good looks are nothing compared to the great range of rich sounds this drum makes. After only a few minutes playing it I am very impressed.
