These handcrafted pieces were made by the Turkoman people in the villages in the northern part of Afghanistan. They create these beautiful pieces of jewelry and then take them to sell at the bazaar, and the profits help support themselves and their families.

Great buy!
I am wearing this necklace to work today for the first time and I keep getting compliments from everyone. It has a very authentic, hand crafted vibe and the stones look really nice, it also has little tiny bells that chime gently, not loud enough to be heard by others but audible enough to make me smile.
