Story Behind the Art:
I am Jorge Cistaro, born in Taxco, Mexico. I worked in a small factory before hard times set-in and the management had to lay off many people. I was fortunate to meet a silversmith in Taxco who opened the doors of his workshop to me. Since then I have let my imagination run free and created designs with metals like sterling silver, alpaca and tumbaga. This work of designing gives me immense peace and also a decent livelihood.<
