Story Behind the Art:
Ketut lives in a mountain village called Sebatu in central Bali. The villages of Bali specialize in just one export, hand-carved wind chime pieces.
Ketut got her name through birth order. In the Bali culture, families name their children in the order in which they are born, male or female. In order of birth, their children are named Wyan, Made (Mahday), Yoman, and Ketut.
