Shailendra says,' I studied at the Indian Institute of Carpet Technology in Bhadohi, renowned for its hand-knotted rugs. When visiting Bhagalpur, famous for its hand-loomed silk products, I met Uvais, who was helping weavers from remote villages improve their living by promoting their work. He also runs an NGO where 30 women make the most exquisite embroidery. We work together to reach more remote areas of Bhagalpur, offer better employment to weavers and preserve traditional Indian textiles.'What is Worldstock? The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design.
