Each paper bead is individually hand-cut and rolled from recycled magazines by women in Kenya and Uganda. The beads are then finished with a clear, non-toxic lacquer for a durable, water-resistant finish. By purchasing these recycled paper beads, you are directly supporting artisans in two countries and keeping large amounts of discarded paper from the worlds's streets and landfills.
