Story Behind the Art: Larry San is the designer and producer of many authentic Indian items. Larry uses cocobolo rosewood and fine metals to individually handcraft pieces. His home is in Taos, New Mexico, where 5 distinct tribes have been living for generations: Utes, Southern Utes, Jicarilla Apache, Pueblo of Zuni, and Ysleta Del Sur. Over the generations, there have been intermarriages, which causes many to identify themselves with the great body of Native Americans in Taos. The city is also the headquarters for Carson National Forest.
