It was not exactly what I expected. It's the thickness of a thin bedsheet. Although I wouln't use it as one because the material is a little rough. It is also much larger than I expected, although that is entirely my fault because I didn't measure the dimensions properly. Make sure you see how big it is before ordering!

So this "tapestry" is beautiful, but is really a bedspread and as thin as a sheet. lovely artwork but not a real tapestry.
