I was very disappointed with the handcrafted elephant table. It hardly resembled the picture on the web site. The woods did not match at all. It was like they took parts from the natural colored table and put them together with the dark colored wood. Every time you move the table, the little tables fall out. The little tables don't fit inside the big table correcttly. I should have sent this table back but it costs so much because of the weight. I am so very disappointed with this product. I will definitely be using this outside because it is not nice enough to use inside. There was no assembly to this table.

In April 2006 I purchased the elephant table set in brown. It shipped 2 days after I ordered it and arrived 8 days via UPS after my ordered date. No assembly required. The tusks on the elephants fall-out often. A little glue will keep them in place. I think the price was high, but my husband really wanted it and we are both happy to help the Ghanaian crafters on these nice handcrafted wood tables. I currently use the small 4 tables as side tables next to my slipper chairs (sku 427974) and they work really well. The large table I have a modern lamp on it. The set it versatile as I am using it and goes great with my modern furniture and beach motif.

I was so excited when I ordered this table. I was looking forward to get this table. When I ordered that table in brown color, I thought I ordered brown like brown on the photo. I was so disappointed when I received it. It is not as nearly like brown on the photo. First of all ,the table I got was exactly like natural color table on the photo and on top of everything the table I received was color black ( I ordered brown) . I could not believe it. You cannot imagine how disappointed I was. The quality was good though but not what I expected or I thought I ordered. If you really like natural color table, go ahead and order it, like I said the quality is good but don?t order any other color. The other good thing, I called the Customer Service, they send me (emailed) label immediately to return this product and shipping was free. I was very happy with the Customer Service.

I love this table, I purchased it about 2 1/2 years ago, the base was broken, and the side tables don't sit even, however, I was told it was the last one. I paid for it to be repaired. I get many compliments on the table, it's unique, but the side tables continually fall out. If I had to do again, I would.

When i recive the table. first came to fast.second look very nice, but dont no only that, i fell so good to help the boy make that, to help his family

I have been to the market in Ghana and seen the market and the products first hand. They are hand made and might not be made to the same standards that US macihned products are. So if you do not appreciate hand made African art or want flawless items then do not buy items from developing countries.

The table is well packed when shipped- but brown table was stained with shipping supports on- so once removed it was natural underneath- the stain also rubbed off on your hand. Very grateful Overstock will allow free return shipment of defective items!

This box arrived in good condition but when opened it was broken in several areas
