Story Behind the Art:
Head of Peru's Asis Family, Eduardo worked with wood from a young age. Necessity forced him to move to the city where he met and married Carmen. Her brother worked in wood and tooled leather. Recalling the work he loved as a youth, Eduardo opened his own workshop and, today, Carmen and four of their five adult children work with him there. As time went on, Eduardo trained some of his relatives and friends, who now help him. His designs combine Andean themes in attractive collections.

Great, decorative storage
Great storage. I'm using it for the larger serving pieces for my flatware set (also found on O.com) that I don't have room for in my kitchen drawers. This will look nice sitting on a chest in a dining area or in a bookcase. It also would make a nice treasure chest for momentos. Detailing on the box is quite intricate. Box smelled nice from fresh work on the wood.
