The pattern and colors are beautiful, but it is just a piece of very thin unhemmed fabric, not a bedspread. It would work for a wall hanging if properly hung, but not for warmth.

The bedspread has a stunning design with beautiful colors, however there were many faded spots. The material is very thin and more of a sheet than a bedspread.

This was a gift, the pserson I gave it to was very thrilled and happy with it. Overall I am happy with it, as for comfort, well its thin material just meant to be used as a spread, not warmth. But I knew that when I bought it.

Having read other reviews I knew exactly what to expect. It is light weight (no warmth), more of a cover than a "spread", and not as wide as a normal queen size spread. It may be hand woven cloth, but the pattern is stamped on. That is probably how they got such lovely vibrant colors...just as it shows in the picture. It is exactly what I needed to convert a sofa bed into a stylish corner of the room. The sofa arms meant I didn't want something that hung over the edge very far. I learned from a previous unsatisfactory experience that it is a very good idea to read product reviews before purchasing, so you know exactly what you are getting! Thx.

I just love that bedspread. The colors are so pretty I've showed alot of my friends and family . They think it so cool. I have bought a lot of different things in my life,but this has to be one of the item that is very unique. Thank you for having such a nice thing in your products. I wanted an Irish theme to my bedroom w/o looking like a green shamrock. I loved how this looked on the computer. I had read the reviews - had some reservations but dediced it was worth the risk and ordered it. It is beautiful. The colors are just I as thought they would be. I love the "handmade" and "imperfect" look of it. That's it's appeal to me. I read that it was light weight and that's just what I wanted - I'm not using it as a bedspread. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This Celtic bedspread is breathtakingly beautiful. In looks, is far outranks the asking fee. The blending of the rich purple, as it deeply moves into the blue is amazing. All of the colors are woven in together with style that permits them to give each justice. The border work is tight, not at all loose as I feared it might be. I must confess, it was not purchased or is it being used, as a bedspread. I do get stopped, frequently, by strangers, full of questions. They reach out to touch it, wondering where it came from. I wear it, folded from the center, creating a huge triangle, as a shawl. It works for me, without a doubt. It is delightful to share where it came from, and watch others scribble down the information. I have already had a close friend of many years coo over it, for she was the one to open the package on the day it arrived. Then, when she saw the price, she grabbed the lap top and ordered one. I am 6'1", she is 5' 4'. She too uses hers as a shawl. Why not? It is warm, comfortable, cozy, does all that it is supposed to do, fits all sizes, can even tuck the kids up under as need be. Why purchase a coat? This is excellent!

Pretty colors, nice throw or wall hanging as a bedspread seems too small

I knew when I recieved this in the mail that it was on the thin side. The design on it is beautiful. I bought two of these, one for my sister and one for my cousin. My sister and cousin both put them on their beds as decoration but not for any utilitarian purpose like warmth. They are just pretty blankets but if you are looking for something to cover your bed, unless you are looking for a twin size..this may not be for you. They would make nice wall decorations too, especially if you are a Celtic lover. I'd purchase this again purely for the beauty aspect and not because I needed a new blanket to keep me warm at night.

After reading reviews, I knew more what to expect. I am using for dining room table cover. I love the colors and pattern, and looks awesome as table cover, which is what I planned. Can't see this being used as a bedspread, purely for show and effect.

'Bought as a bed spread or wall hanging for my daughter's college apartment. Very nice pattern and colors. Very large. She hung it behind her bed and it looks great. Its nicer than what I expected at this price and a good value as an inexpensive throw or hanging.

The material isn't quite what I expected for a bedspread, however I really enjoy the color and design on the Celtic Bedspread. It took some time getting it here, including sending the wrong item back twice, but once I got it, I am totally enjoying it.

Based on the other reviews, I was not expecting bedspread-type quality, and indeed the fabric is thin. But the design and color are outstandingly beautiful. The person I gave this to plans to use it as a table cover or a wall hanging. It is gorgeous and we were both extremely pleased.

The bedspread has a nice pattern and beautiful colors, but the pattern is not handwoven it is stamped on. The size is fine for a twin bed and large for a wallhanging (unless you have alot of wallspace). The quality of the fabric is pretty standard for this type of woven throw.

poor quality transfer of design onto marginal quality fabric

I was disappointed in the size of it, thought it would be king size, since one size fits all and it's about a twin. The colors weren't as vibrant as the other ones like it that I have. I don't think it's going to hold up too well.
