Story Behind the Art:
Hi, My name is Kirti. Born to a blacksmith's family from Nagpur, India, I was able to study only till my 12th grade after which it was my duty to shoulder my family responsibilities. My elder brother was serving at a local jeweler's store. I was always fancied by his jewelry stories and the admiration he had for the artisans working there. I happened to visit the store one day and it paved the way for me to become a jewlry designer. With my brother's help and my father's skills as a blacksmith, I learnt the metalsmithing process and started designing my own jewelry items. I plan to recruit locals with such skills to bring about an overall empowerment of my village community.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

This is a "wear-and-stare" bracelet. There is much more texture than the photograph reveals. At one point near the middle there are four layers - silver, copper, brass, brass rope. You will find yourself playing with it, turning it, staring at it. I have two different bracelets by the same artist and love them both. They would make wonderful gifts for any woman who appreciates hand-crafted items.Read More

The color of the back-ground Pictured of the bracelet is NOTHING of what it looks like in person. It's a VERY BRIGHT AND A SHINEY SILVER METAL.. Under the METAL details it states - BRASS AND COPPER. It shows in the pic that the metals as a bit dull and matted looking (NOT shiney and HIGHLY glossed). If it was the matted look I would of given it a better rating. I can see that the under side(in pic) to be a high shine so that is what I expected to be a "High Polish" look not the outside. It is also very thin like a sheet of tin.Read More
