I bought this item as a gift for a friend, not only did I like it she loved it! It came in a timely manner and was everything that was advertised!

I think I may put a liner in the box since it has none, but it is gorgeous and obviously hand carved. Not big, big enough for a purpose. I bought it for myself since I love all kinds of boxes - even lead glass crystal and decorated glass with music. A good and useful product.

For what I paid and based on the photo I thought this box would be bigger. It is beautiful though. Small but very pretty.

I like this jewelry box and the carving is really nice. Mine didn't quite close all the way, but this is minor, and the wood has a bit of an obvious light streak on the top. However it still looks nice and I like the look of handcrafted items and appreciate that they may not be perfect. I also like supporting artisans in other, less developed countries.

Really pretty and unique. I gave it as a gift with a pretty bracelet inside. Would have been a little nicer if it was lined. The the workmanship was great. Worth the price.

this box was purchased as a gift for an 8-year-old girl -- her older sisters seemed a bit jealous when it was opened and the 8-yr-old wouldn't put it down for a while.

I ordered this jewelry box for a very special neice. It was quite a bit smaller than I imagined it would be, but has beautiful craftsmanship. I would purchase this item as gift for another family member. My neice was very happy with the box.

This item is made of rosewood, and handmade by someone who cares about giving a quality product. The carvings are wonderful, and the thickness of the wood will last a lifetime. I wish the craftmen and his family well, and good luck with his home business! The box was a gift to my young neice who loves it, and will keep it for the rest of her life to put loved trinkets into!! Thanks you

I bought five of these boxes for loved ones for Christmas and until I held one in my hands, planned on putting another store bough extra in the box to complete the package. Instead, I wrote a love note and lovingly wrapped the beautiful boxes and felt very happy to be able to see the delight in the reciever's eyes. I even decided to love myself and keep one!!

This is a lovely wooden jewelry box, and the workmanship that went into carving this piece is very apparent. It's not very large, so I use it to store smaller items (rings, pendants, earrings, etc.). It isn't large enough to accommodate any of my larger pieces (bangles, necklaces, etc). Still, overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's an interesting piece that I'm sure I'll have for years to come.

From the some of the other reviews I thought it would be small but it was larger that the reviews implied. The craftmanship is very nicely done. Overall a really nice box.
