  I'm very pleased with the barrette. I, however, would also like to purchase the butterfly shown on the top. I don't think there was a way on Overstock for choose the color you wanted.

  • Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Received the butterfly shown on the bottom -- the beading is a close match.
  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is excellent. The back portion of the metal barrette seems to be sewed into the beading and is covered. Looks as thought it should last many years.

  I needed one of these ski-headbands at the end of the winter season. This was the only one I could find anywhere, so I took a chance with it. The workmanship is very nice. It has an outer layer made of cable knit wool, with an inner layer of fleece to keep from itching. But even with these two layers, it still lets a lot of wind through. I'm constantly checking to see if it's actually covering my ears because they still feel cold. Also, it's extremely wide, which is a little awkward. I can't really put it under my hair because it is so wide, so it goes over like the model in the picture. But it just keeps sliding up, so that it can't do the job effectively. If I had had more choices at the end of the season, I would have gone with a plain slender fleece band, not this one.

  The headband is nice and looks like picture but it seems a bit too wide. It will probably be ok in cold weather condtions for maximum protection for a headband.

  The picture is a little deceptive as it shows 3 butterfly barettes, and I thought it was a set of 3, but when it arrrived it is only one butterfly. Even though this is a "fair trade" item from Guatamala, the price seems kind of steep for one. I thought the price was reeasonable for a set of 3.
