Story Behind the Art:
This husband and wife team met traveling in Asia 17 years and have created a socially responsible initiative that supports many artisan groups in China. The hats from China are organized by families with whom they have worked for many years. They organize small tailoring groups where the tailors are paid by piece for their work. No factory or child labor is ever used. Workers are paid higher than average wages and are free to move on at any point. Typically there are waiting lists to become a tailor with this artisan groups. Most of the families we supported by this fair trade initiative have gone from having no running water, to purchasing land, motorized vehicles and sending their children to college. Thank you for supporting this ever growing initiative with great artisans that now have the ability to expose their products to the global market.

Cool sun hat
Bought this 'Grosgrain Ribbon Crushable 5.5-inch Brimmed Travel Sun Hat' as a gift for a stylish friend. Read reviews prior to buying and decided to give it a go based on the good reviews. It arrived in Phoenix after only 3 business days. I'm very pleased with the weight, colors, style and construction. It looks really nice and am sure that it will be a hit for her to wear poolside this summer.

nice material but...
the hat is very nice and a good price, but the top is taller than i expected, just by a few inches, and it looked ridiculous on me. But, i have a big head and lots of hair. otherwise, great product.

This hat is really great. I usually have a hard time finding hats because they're usually too small on me but this one has a little stretch to it. I tried folding it up and it really did get its shape back.
