Story Behind the Art:
Danai's collections treasure nature. 'I was born in northern Thailand. After going to college, my partner's father suggested that we create something representative of the area where we live and we came up with the idea of covering natural products, such as exotic flowers and plants, with gold. For the past 20 years or so, I have had good and bad times but I enjoyed it all. It is pretty much like black coffee ŋ bitter, sweet and very nice.'

Absolutely beautiful!
I was not sure if the earrings would look painted and I had delayed ordering. I finally just ordered them because I thought they were so pretty. I was surprised to find these are not cheaply made and even prettier than they are on the web site. They are one of my favorites.
