Product Features:
Odette Sierra is from the beautiful Mexican state of Puebla. Her father Edgar Sierra first opened their workshop 30 years ago. Their town is renowned throughout Mexico for its carvings in onyx and marble. Submerged in this artistic heritage, the Sierras began crafting parquet tables in onyx and marble. The art of sculpting marble and onyx demands patience and virtue, both of which have been cultivated over time in the Sierra Family workshop.

Outrageous disappointment
Let me first say that this is my first review on any site, good or bad. However, this chess set is so BEYOND disappointing, I am compelled to submit the following: To begin, I eagerly awaited its arrival daily from having purchased it almost a month ago? Other items arrived, but this did not. Secondly the colors are misrepresented. The set is pink and black...and neither a nice pink nor black. Third, the pieces are "rigged" together, and the felt bottoms are loosly glued on (glue visible) in haphazard fashion! I mean COME ON! Fourth, the board is scratched and ITS backing is coming apart!!! Did I mention these colors are revolting??? I love playing the game, and was looking forward to displaying a beautiful marble set in living room. I am so disheartened that I may never shop Overstock again! Return. All day long. S. H.
