This was just a little smaller than I expected. I was expecting a pitcher to put punch, sangria, lemonade, just sorts like that in it as a serving piece. When I got it I realized you may not want to use it like that (1) because the ice may damage it & (2) because it is a narrow pitcher, not a full size one. It is beautiful and I bought it for my mother in law, I'm thinking now it will be a good vase. But it is beautiful and I love it, no doubt about that,
