Individually handcrafted by artists on the exotic islands of Bali and Java in beautiful Indonesia. Sarongs are one of the most versatile and earliest forms of clothing that dates back 1,000¿s of year and have been utilized around the world in one form or another. These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well known throughout the world for their skill, creativity and expertise. Specifically their skills in batik, which many of our sarongs are made using this art of batik. Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.

Exactly as advertised
Sarong is very basic. Is exactly as advertised. Manufacturing company purports itself as community minded. Seems genuine. I would recommend this item.

Simple and useful
I drove all over town to find a simple sarong to go with everything for my beach vacation. This definitely served the purpose nicely. The rayon was a decent quality and didn't fade after repeated afternoons on the beach nor did it lose its luster from washings. Only complaint is that its rayon and and could be a bit cheaper, but would consider purchasing in different colors.

Perfect sarong!
I wear a size 16 and was trying to decide between this one and the plus sized one. According to the reviews of that one it was huge so I took at look at this one's measurements and decided to give it a try. Perfect. It's great quality. Sheer enough for the heat and humidity of hawaii and to dry quickly but substantial enough to hold it's shape, not get warped and provide good cover both from sun and wind. I think this is a must have for any beach vacation.

Love this simple cover-up!
I've been looking for a black wrap all summer - something that will go with all my swimsuits. I haven't found one in any stores so when I found one on Overstock I ordered it right away When I received it, I was so happy to see that the quality was as great as the price. I'm excited to take it on vacation next month!!!
