The ink and watercolor panels feature inspirational imagery on a silk floor screen. A silk brocade border decorates the hand-painted front, while the reverse is a solid, light brown tone. Story behind the product:
This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Nice screen for the price!
This screen was perfect for my needs. I was looking for something and large yet pretty to put above the bed in a guest bedroom and not too expensive. The quality is very good for the price. And it looks great in the room. Be advised it does not come with any hardware to hang. I found some decorative hinges at the hardware store and screwed 1/2 the hinge into the frame between each of the places between two panels where the screen folds, then screwed them into the wall. It looks great and really added that extra touch.

bird shoji silkscreen
loved it, this was my 4th silkscreen that i've order from o/stock, price was great, quality n color was beautiful. i have received sooo many compliments on all of my silkscreen plus you can't find something like this at department stores.
