Story Behind the Art:
Asunta Pelaez was taught the art of reverse-painted glass by her husband's family. 'Then we united our skills and labor. I realized that the more I practiced, the more this craft won me over, offering me tremendous gratification. Now I consider it a way of life. This whole process demands incredible patience and attention to detail. My designs are inspired by nature, and by traditional scenes from my town and region. I feel very proud of the works that I create.'

Too plastic-ky looking
After waiting excitedly for the mirror it arrived in perfect condition but was disappointing to look at. The mirror would be pretty if it didn't have the coating which takes away from the real art & gives you a product thats covered in PLASTIC !! Reminds me of my grandmas couch :( I retd the piece

Beautiful, jewel-tone colors.
The mirror arrived promptly and was extremely well packaged. I wanted to use it over a chest of drawers in an upstairs guest room. It went up very easily in a couple of minutes. I was proud to have the first person stay in the room last weekend.

Gorgeous Mirror!!!
This mirror is truly beautiful and a stunning addition to my new home! It blends fantastically with my Indian Cabinet hand carved by artisans and is hanging above this in my front foyer. I have received many complements! Do not hesitate to buy this!!! The process of reverse painting on glass is just so unique! The mirror came shipped efficiently, quickly and was packaged extremely well!!
