This handcrafted item and many others come from a third-generation family-run workshop in mainland China. Their skills have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home, training the next generation to become master craftsmen.

room divider
It looked great. It served the purpose I needed and looked like good quality.

A matter of time
At first, I was extremely happy with this divider. It was sturdy, beautiful, exactly what i wanted. However, within a few months, the snakeskin covering began to peel off of the edges. Its impossible to glue it back and have it stay, its as if the snake skin were shrinking and won't fit the frame anymore. I have no idea what conditions would cause this (perhaps humidity?) We've had to angle the edge so that it cannot be seen.

Love it
Love this piece. I needed something extra for a corner in a room and this was a great touch. The box showed up a little damaged, but the product was fine. Price was good. Have received compliments on it. Would recommend.
