Story Behind the Art:
Three Pillars Trading has contracted directly with the artisan group that creates this gorgeous throw blanket. The group is a collection of great sewers and tailors who specialize in stitching reclaimed antique saris together. All of their throws are completely done in-house by them, while the materials are sourced in collaboration with some of our other partner artisans in their local area. It truly takes a village to create beautiful pieces like these sari blankets. The pieces reflects the painstaking & laborious work involved, it can take three days to produce one piece. The back is constructed of soft cotton voil and it is filled with a layer of cotton flannel. Use it as a bed cover, couch throw or a wall hanging, this versatile and gorgeous conversational piece is an accessory that everyone's room could use, guaranteed to bring you lots of compliments.

Gorgeous
This is the perfect sized throw for me. It's great for wrapping around you while you read, feet up on the couch or wrapped around your shoulders. The backside of the throw is a solid hearty piece, but the top seems like it might be a little delicate. I'd be careful if you have pets are toddlers around. But I have to say, I love the look of this so much I bought a second one and sent it as a gift. It was a big hit.
