The name of this quilt is somewhat misleading. I was under the impression when I purchased this quilt that it is lined with feathers. My grandmother had a feather bed, so the concept of a feather quilt did not seem unreasonable to me. However, instead of feathers this quilt is stuffed with cotton batting. As stated in the description, the design is on the front and back and the workmanship and quality of the materials seem to be fine. The colors worked for me and the design is unique so I kept it, but I was surprised when it arrived. Also, all of the tags were cut off and that makes me wonder why they were removed.
