I really like the quality and looks of this Jewelry Box, however the only thing is that the top does not lift up. Overall a very beautiful!

This box is my 1st real jewlry box. It has large roomy drawers and looks great. My only complaint would be that there isn't enough height to hang necklaces that are 18 inches long.

The overall jewelry box was really beautiful. I would make a few improvements, like the back being designed as well, red velor interior instead of red silk, the doors for chains needs to be able to hold 18 inch and longer chains,. If the jewelry box draws slide out a little, they hit the hooks on the doors for chains and can scratch the beautiful lacquerd. I can see how some of the reviews mentioned scratches because the draws need to have a tighter fit. The hooks need to be bent in more which I did or use a coated hook that won't scratch. The door hinges were a little out of alignment and needed tightening. The loose doors can also be a cause for scratches, needs a tighter fit. Also, If the top lifted up to reveal another area for maybe bracelets or hair clips. The design would be 100% perfect. The design and beauty of the box could go for 1000.00 with the improvements made above. I really like the history of the family that works together on the boxes, very nice. Very committed to their work. With a quality control person, which I use to be, their jewelry boxes could be the absolute best around. For the price which is excellent, the style and the most beautiful designs, It is an excellent value for your money. I would love to see these suggestions made because you could not find a better jewelry box around if done and the family could earn much more than what they were going for. Overall I was very impressed.

This box is spectacular! I purchased 3 of them! The carvings are beautiful! Our daughter is adopted from China so I am saving one for when she is older!

I am into Asian art these days and this is a beauty. I also ordered a cabinet for the powder room which was too big (my fault)...but would recommend highly this product.

this is a beautiful jewelry box, and has tons of room. There is tons of ornate carving, the designs and Chinese ladies are not painted on, but carved and 3-D. This was packaged badly and arrived with nicks and scrapes because the drawers were not secured and banged around during shipping- not happy about having to return this item.
