I wasn't so thrilled with this box, although it was exactly what was stated , I suppose I expected a little more. It was pretty, and different, but I had to take it mind that it was hand made...I think, so it was embossed on this bendable metal stuff, and just put on wood........mind you, it was pretty, I first thought about returning it, but like I said......you have to keep in mind it was handmade!!

Bought for an angel collector. I am a little disappointed in the craftsmanship. It is basically tin wrapped around a wooden frame and the lid is very hard to open up. It is pretty, but don't expect a fine piece of work. For the angel lover, buy it. For the person looking for a jewelry box to last for years to come, keep looking.

My sister recently lost a child and in memory of Joshua she collects angels. When I saw this jewelry box I couldn't think of the perfect gift for her. She loved it and cherishes the quality, detail and design of the box. Very different and definitely a keep sake.

The box was lovely in pictures and described fairly adequately but didn't mention the sharp edged tin panels tacked to wood in a manner that left sharp, dangerous edges that had to be smoothed and bent by me before I could give the box as a gift. Construction also required work to prevent wood/metal from scratching surfaces it would be placed on and appearance of unfinished wood around the bottom.

I ordered a jewelry box that was very pretty, however the inside was much smaller than I expected.

Although the box is pretty, it is very small. I wanted it to be a jewerly box, but all you can fit in it is a watch.

I bought several of these boxes for Christmas gifts. But when I received them, I was disappointed with their construction. The lids did not meet with the base properly. And considering the size of the box, the storage space inside was very small. I was not impressed with this item at all.

The box is just as it appears in the picture. Read the dimensions and you will not be disappointed with the size.

These boxes are being made by people who put a lot of time and effort into them and are most likely getting paid 25 cents for each one. Not to mention the fact that it's TIN over wood, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT.

Arrived quickly. Very small. It was surprisingly light. Interesting take on angel depiction, not so much pretty or lovely but sort of skull like and skeletal. A little scratchy around the metal work but all an all a nice little place for keepsakes.

Bought this as a gift to my mother for Christmas and she loved it. Perfect size, not to big, not to small for her dresser. Wonderful detail and craftsmanship.

The Angels have a special significance. The silver material is literally nailed to the wooden legs. I feel the Overstock picture is prettier than the actual jewelry box. But since the Angels have meaning, I like the box, which was used as a gift.

Hand-crafted item, what I expected. Well made. Box was very small. I purchased it for a gift because of the name "angel box " and was disappointed the angel wasn't more prominent.

on the website the box seemed to be of alot better quality. When we received it we were disappointed with how cheaply made the product was. Would not refer this product to anyone.

I"m astonished at all these negative reviews! My sister bought this box for me for my birthday last year and it is absolutely beautiful! You have to take into consideration that this box is HAND MADE so there are little imperfections in it-- but that is what makes it beautiful. The box is small on the inside: its not really too suitable for jewelry-- so I use it to hold spare change and other assorted stuff. The top is a bit difficult to open because, like I mentioned earlier, it is handmade, but that doesn't mean the box is poor quality. The inside is a nice blue velvet material.

This was not was promoted - it was the worst little trinket box I have ever purchased. The craftmans ship was terrible and not what was promised, very cheaply made and was a rip off - disgusted with price even the half off sale was a joke - I would have never purchased if I saw in the store
