It's a nice piece of artwork. It seems solid enough. I would recommend it if you don't need to put you full weight on it, but it does seem solid. I get quite a few looks and comments with this one...

I pride myself as a carving artist. I have had several people contact me in the last two years about fixing these canes. Don't get me wrong! The carving is fantastic, but it is not suitable for a person that truly needs a walking aide. I would like to say I have reproduced one like this, but to make it a safe workable aide I had to change the style drasticly. The main problem is the type of wood it is made from. Too soft and the grain is to course. For a decoration on the wall it is a great value. I couldn't sell them for **** shortyshop
