Artisans make these albums in a small village in a remote area in Bali, Indonesia. The village depends on importers and consumers to purchase these to help them survive, be able to help raise their children and hope that they have better lives. The area is very poor but the people are very happy and content with what they have taking nothing for granted. They don't need more or less to survive.

double leaf design photo album
i bought 5 different albums and i think they are just wonderful. they are worth the money. they make great gifts. i even bought some as thank you gifts for friends. they did ship my shipment to another state and did put a trace, couldn't find the order, but sent out replacements asap.. it was well worth the wait

Pretty Album
Overall I am happy with the album. I was dissapointed when I saw it only holds about 20 5x7's The despriction didn't mention that. Fortunately, that's okay for me because I am going to use it as a guest book for my wedding next year. I wanted to put some pictures of my fiance and I in the album and have it there for people to sign during the reception. I only gave is a 4 because of the lack of description about how many photos it would hold. It's great for a small ablum but I wouldn't recommend it for a large amount of photos.
