As I am remodeling my kitchen, I have been looking for unique ways to incorporate copper as an accent with out making a huge commitment financially or as permanent decor. When I saw these chairs, I was so excited to make them a feature in the dining portion of my kitchen! They were shipped promptly, arrived just when they said they would, and were packed with much care. As I unwrapped the first chair a sense of disappointment washed over me when I saw that they were more of a painted metal than an actual shiny copper metal. The copper color of the chairs in the website photos was not what I received. The chairs are a painted dark metal, and look to have a "patina" of about 100 years. I believe these metal chairs will be sturdy and around for a long time, but were an overall disappointment because of their color.

Midcentury modern refers to the time period between 1930 and 1965 when designers and architects began focusing on simple yet creative design.
