I ordered two similar Batik pieces and am very happy with the purchase. The frames are solid which is good because I didn't realize that the painting would have no backing. Pretty much the frame and the fabric stretched between are what you get. Now looking at the online picture I can see one image where the painting is hanging over a window, and the light is coming through, so it's just that I hadn't noticed that. But it doesn't matter, because I like them very much, and they've changed the energy of the room they're in. I don't think I'd hang them in a window. I would imagine that the sun could bleach out the colors. Anyhow I recommend these wonderful pieces. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I ordered all three of the paintings but only this one arrived. I was truly disappointed as I really wanted all three to complete the set. For what its worth, I do like having this one, its even more beautiful and appealing to the eyes haging on the wall instead of viewing via the computer. I'll bet you'll love it too.
