Story Behind the Art:
Veena comes from a family long-involved in traditional arts and crafts. 'We didn't have a comfortable lifestyle and I was able to study only up to 8th grade because I was the oldest in the family and had lots of responsibilities. My husband is also an artisan and we now work together. He brings patchwork from Gujarat and we transform it into our designs. We started with only wall hangings but now create a wide range of bedspreads, cushion covers, handbags, curtains and more.'

this particular wall hanging is simply beautiful ! i love the design itself, the gorgeous colors, their vibrancy resulting in an unexpected harmony. This wall hanging is sumptuous and meticulously executed. i plan to buy another one as a holiday present for my daughter.
