Anchalika Chamnan comes from northern Thailand, the gate to Burma, Laos, and China. 'My hometown is a trading town. My aunt began by buying textiles from people and selling to others. Later, she started to design her own textiles. She needs many people to help her, so I am here to help and have learned her craft. Embroidery is a traditional skill for the women in our area. Displaying our work to the world lets us support people from our village by offering them more work,' she says.

This is a beautiful bag. The strap extends to plenty of long enough to wear over the shoulder, and it's nicely lined with an zippered inside pocket. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent.
