I was hesitant about getting this blouse because one review said the garment was made of burlap type material. The blouse is made from 100% cotton! I love it and the price was a steal , especially since shipping was FREE!

I really love this shirt -it does seem thicker in person than the picture here! It's a sturdy piece though, would last for ever.

I needed something to wear for the drumming group I was with drumming at the Boston Marathon. This fit the bill perfectly and kept me warm enough as it was a bit chilly in the morning yes cool enough I was very comfortable when the sun came out. I am very happy with this blouse and can't wait to wear it again!

I love this poncho-type top! It is very unusual and I get compliments on it all the time. It is not as long as a tunic - more a low hip length - just barely over the bum. The arm-holes are sewn on the side, so you can wear it without another layer underneath. I can throw this on with jeans and look chic.

Got it for my daughter-in-law and she loves it. Even wears it to work sometimes.

This is a really pretty shirt, but it did not look good on me. the neck is too small, and the bodice too big. it is large square material, folded over and stitched, great embroidery. i think the worst thing for me was the thickness of the material. very hot and heavy, also itchy. they should make it from a non wrinkle cotten sort of material. just wasnt my style. Not for the big breasted, lots of material overhang.

this is the most comfortable blouse i own. not only is it comfortable, but it's beautiful! there hasn't been a time that i've worn it where i didn't receive compliments on it. i love wearing it and wished everything in my closet was this comfortable and beautiful! the stitching on the blouse is so very nice as well.

I plan on wearing this blouse on a cruise to Alaska. I will probably put a long sleeve turtleneck underneath. It appears large but as a jacket over jeans I think I will like it very much.

Very beautiful fabric - great design - with beautiful and strong embroidery in light tan - a beige-like color that is very chic with the black fabric - It is beautifully designed and fits like a poncho that drapes well and looks expensive - I love it and would definitely buy more in other colors. This is a winner - I was pleasantly surprised as it surpassed my expectations - beautiful blouse.

As I unrolled it, I thought, "Wow, this is going to be perfect!" But then I almost immediately said out loud, "Where's the rest of it?" The pictures make it look like this is a long blouse but in truth it is only 26" long. The 45" width does help to give it a slightly longer look as long as you keep your arms down. Lay it out and it makes a perfect rectangle with the long side going across your arms and shoulders, not down the font and back like the picture on the hanger makes it look. The fact is if you have any size on you at all, especially if you have a long trunk and large breasts, this just comes off looking like a "Tummy Tickler," i.e. it hits above the navel. Did I say, “hits?” No, it hangs above the navel because it is too short to fall back after flowing off the shelf of my breasts. It literally looks like half of a very pretty, well made, interesting little blouse but one can’t help but wish it were at least twice as long. Another problem is that the neckline is too shallow to show off even a hint of cleavage. For a woman with high set, large breasts this only adds to the appearance of wearing a piece of clothing that’s too small for me. Lastly, though it is shown on the pictures, I didn't expect the fact that the embroidery doesn't carry around to the back of the neckline to make the piece look so unfinished. Perhaps it's because the sleeves are completely encircled that it is particularly apparent but, for me at least, it is a real design flaw. O.K. So I've shared disappointments with this piece, let me share my joys too. The fact is, this is a very nice piece all said and done. I wish I was a petite 100 pound lady of diminutive stature, and I'm sure if I were, this would look great on me. As it is, I'm keeping it to give to one of my nieces next Christmas. It IS a quality piece and you can't beat the quality to price ratio anywhere else that I know of here in the States. The idea of supporting artisans around the globe is an added bonus. I come from the mountains of Appalachia and I would love to support a NOVICA-type program for the many artisans I know who live and practice their crafts in secluded mountain hollows and poverty stricken townships all up and down that beautiful range. Hey, maybe I should contact National Geographic . . . - PEACE -
