Story Behind the Art:
K.Thidarat (Jeab) grew up in Lamphun, in the northern province of Thailand, where there is a large cultural influence from surrounding hill tribes who are well known for their handmade crafts and jewelry. Jeab now lives in Bangkok, which is the capital of Thailand. She brought her knowledge and patience of making jewelry to the capital city and began displaying her skill in stores and markets. She has taught her family members back home to make some of the designs. Her creative designs and successful business model have brought income to the family while preserving the handcrafted traditions of her home town.

Love this piece!
I love this piece, and get a lot of compliment when I wear it. My friends ask me where I got it. I simply say it's from thailand -(they assume I've been there even though I got it here at overstock) That's another aspect that I like about this site they offer products that are made all over the world. I would love to see some pieces from the Philippines as I know there are a lot of products there that are as beautiful as this piece.
