Deby Genip's family moved to Bali from East Timor 32 years ago. With a Christian family, his father felt moving would be safer for raising his children in an environment with more tolerance for diverse religious belief. Growing up, Deby always had a fascination with differences in belief which shared in their similar positive message of becoming better citizen. He loves gathering special famous quotes from all religions and beliefs to spread around.

Quote Scroll
Love the quote and that is what made me go for it. However, the finish was not what I expected as everything I have got from O so far have had great quality. In the picture the lighter quote cloth and the black one behind have a nice & a straight (vertical) cut, but mine does not. The vertical lines are wavy and that is very apparent. Makes it look like as if the person who made this didn't care too much. Also the lighter cloth is not placed symmetrical on the back one and not at all as vertically straight as the picture. The cloth on which the quote is written in much darker than it appears in the picture so the contrast is far less. Overall ok, but I am not going to hang it in the living room or family room where it will be seen by many. A shame as the quote is beautiful. I probably would not have purchased this for this price if I saw at a store. I am not returning though. I am keeping it for our future meditation room.

get your iron out!
Item is very pretty, but because of how it was packaged, I had to iron out MANY wrinkles between bronze colored fabric and black fabric. Use a towel between iron and item as a precaution for burning the thin fabric.
