Story Behind the Art:
The workshop of Jaime Rosselot is located in Providencia, Santiago. Since 2004 he has been sharing a house with four other artisans - most of whom are friends from the university. Jaime has been working in handicrafts for 20 years.

Comfortable copper cuff
This handmade copper cuff bracelet from Chile is very comfortable to wear. It's not heavy and it has no sharp point. I have a small wrist and it fits well. While it was affordable, I was very pleased to know that the artisan who created this bracelet got paid with a fair wage and under safe working environment. It's a win-win situation for everyone! Highly recommended!

I was real pleased with my new cuff bracelet, and I still am very satisfied with it. I have to say the craftsmanship is beautifully detailed. The bracelet is comfortable to wear. My wrist didn't turn green or itch. ( I don't have an allergy to copper.) The bracelet goes well with most current fashions and edxcellent with jeans. ( I've heard that wearing a copper bracelet has healing properties to it.) I receive compliments and inquiries of the bracelet. I say (humbly), " I got it at Overstock.com, Worldstock tab." My main reason for purchasing the bracelet was help contribute to the Chilean economy and show my support for Chile after the violent earthquake late last month (27 Feb). I still would have ordered the bracelet even without the earthquake. I enjoy wearing art!!!!.......Thank you "O" for featuring this item.

Just beautiful! And produced by artisans paid a fair wage via the Partners in Fair Trade. This is one of two pieces I purchased from COMPARTE, and I will be looking for more in the future.

Hmmm
Not as big or heavy duty as I thought it would be, its not a very substantial piece of jewelry. It is pretty but seems like it won't stand lots of wear. I like jewelry I can wear hard, this isn't quite it.
