This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff. Wonderful table!
I was SO pleased to find Overstock offering this table! I already have several pieces of furniture from this factory and have had them for years. They are durable, very beautiful, and need little care to look great! This table is a true work of art and craftsmanship, and Overstock's price was unbeatable! Way to go Overstock! Please thank the Chinese factory for me for another gorgeous table!

Gold Claw Foot Console Table
This table is beautiful. Small in width, perfect for my small foyer. The gold leaf is lacquered, which will protect it from wear, but it also came with a glass top which I wasn't expecting. There were a couple of corners that were slightly scuffed, but a little black cover paint took care of them. It is shipped flat, so its legs need attaching, which my husband did in about 20 minutes. This table was a splurge for me, cost-wise. However, it matches my large gold Chinese folding screen perfectly. I am very happy with it.
