Woven by natives of the Himalayan country of Nepal, each piece is hand crafted by talented Nepalese women in their leisure time. Many of these women make their living crafting these beautiful, warm hats. Most of the women come specifically from the town of Bhaktapur. Some tourists have described this part of Nepal as being like Disneyland, but with its own primitive and unique character, a town of living heritage

The BEST beanie I have ever owned
The wool is perfect. The knit is spaced perfectly to keep in warmth and allow air to circulate. The felt band on the inside helps to keep the beanie from stretching out and losing shape and it adds an additional layer of warm for my ears and neck. I really love the beanie! Thank you overstock for carrying it and many blessings to the women that took the time to knit them.
