This item was very beautiful. I had hoped it would be a little larger, but other than that, it made a very nice gift.

I bought this item as a gift. After reading all the excellent reviews, I decided to purchase. When it came, I had to look online to see if my order had been shipped incorrectly. It looks nothing like the picture on the website at all. It's nice, but not what I was expecting. The is no detailed mask faces, and the item is all black, except for the base. It looks more like a family than friends, since the 3 figures are all different heights.I think Overstock should change the picture to reflect what the actual item looks like, because this is not what it looks like in actuality.I'm bummed, I will be sending back.

This item was purchased as a gift and sent directly to the recipient. There were no papers in the box to indicate the name of the statue or the origin. Once I explained to the recipient "Circle of Friends" and Ghana, the person was most impressed. She said it was different and very nice piece of wood work.

I bought for a dear friend. The picture doesn't do it justice. It was the MOST beautiful sculpture! She LOVED it, everyone in our office & her family thought it must've cost $150. or more Of course, it didn't thanks to Overstock.com. But I would absolutely recommend it. It's a custom work of art.
