This hand-crafted item comes from a third-generation, family-run factory in mainland China. Their skills have been passed through many generations. Master craftsmen are hired out of semi-retirement to work training the next generation of craftsmen. These highly respected masters continue their craft and culture to produce valuable, desirable pieces for your home decor.
Regular vacuuming is the best way to keep your sisal rug fresh. In low humidity areas, light applications of water will strengthen the fibers: Vacuum to remove excess dirt, then use a damp cloth or spray bottle. The moisture will tighten up the carpet fibers as they dry.

Excellent mat
This is an excellent little rug. It made an excellent mud-mat when I first got it, and it's made an excellent doormat ever since - if I can still get them when it eventually dies, I will want another just like it. It's just that good a rug.

attractive stay in place rug
My husband loves new rug that now sits in place in front of his reclinter...no sliding like his previous non sisal rug...even has me looking for smaller versions for his bathroom...

like the color - was a little daker than expected rough on bare feet, have gotten used to it. slightly moves around on my ceramic floor but not really a problem
