The lamp is very nice looking, but the lamp shade is awful. It looks like someone stretched a pair of old pantyhose over the frame. I replaced it right away.

I was looking for a nice lamp that would provide good light in a room with no overhead lighting, so a 3-way lamp was important. I was so happy to finally find a well-made 3-way lamp with some style. The lamp is slightly larger than I expected, but it is perfect for the room. The lamp was well packaged and arrived in great condition. So far, very happy with this purchase.

The best thing about this lamp is that the return was easy.

I really like this lamp, only thing I did was change the shade as it was a little to dark in the area I wanted to put the lamp, would buy again

This lamp is quite nice...It is a bit small but I have antique step side-tables so it works just great for me. They do not put off as much light with the darker shade but that I can tolerate. The base is very nice wood and the body of the lamp is exquisitely made and quite beautiful. I definitely recommend this product for those who like the three way bulb option.

The lamp is a beautiful piece; arrived in a carefully packaged box. It was smaller than I had imagined, I should have measured, but makes a great foyer or buffet lamp. Too short for a side table.

As mentioned in another review, the lampshade is pretty awful, but the base is nice. I ended up purchasing another lampshade, which of course adds to the overall price of this lamp for me. I couldn't quite find the right shape and size combination shade, so I ended up with a lampshade a little too big for the base, but since the lamp is in the guestroom, I don't care as much. I think if the lamp were in the living or family room, I would be a little bit more peeved at the look of the new lampshade with the base and would try harder to find the right shade.

I had read the reviews before making this purchase and one of them had me concerned regarding a comment about the quality of the lamp shade. However, I took a chance and the quality of the lamp shade as well as the rest of the lamp is outstanding! I have had several positive comments from friends.

I was pleasantly surprised; the lamp was more attractive than the representation on your website. It was an exceptional value as I had seen it for far more money. However, I was disappointed in that the lampshade had a stain of some sort and two of the seems seemed to be pulling. I would have considered purchasing another shade (still having received considerable quality for the cost), but the shade of copper matched my bedspread exactly. All in all, I am very satisfied (plus the base was an even more perfect match for a foo dog from China given to me as a child almost 60 years ago). I still would recommend the lamp.

I bought two of these lamps. My only complaint is that on of the harps didn't have the nob to affix the shade to it. Will have to purchase that at a hardware store. Other than that, it's worth the value.
