  • Chair is exactly as described.

Chair is very sturdy and the workmanship is outstanding. The only problem we had was some of the holes didn't line up, had to use clamps when gluing to be safe.

  • Cedar and Leather Rocking Chair

    Feb 27, 2010

    dena1439  from Cypress, Tx, Rating:4.0

It's a gorgeous chair BUT my husband told me it was very hard to put together. Be sure to have wood glue and a mallet on hand. I gave it 4 starts because once it is put together it's stunning. We will see how long it lasts!

  • Pieces did not fit together

    Dec 5, 2014

    crgmd57  from San Francisco, Rating:1.0

Very dark brown, almost black. When it arrived, the pieces were numbered and supposed to just fit in together. They did not! My friend spent hours sanding the holes to make them larger so the cross-pieces would fit together. Also, the wood dowels tend to pop out and constantly need to be replaced. Not a good product.

  • Excellent craftsmanship and Beautiful!

I was a little leary at first after reading some reviews, but I'm glad I went with my gut and bought it! It's an excellent value, it looks like an heirloom! Yes you have to put it together and all you need is a rubber mallet and wood glue! My husband put it together in less than 30 mins. If you were to buy this from a furniture store assembled you would pay 3 times the price, and the hand tooled leather is beautiful!!!! Love it!

A friend helped to assemble using glue for wood. I am delighted. The crafmandhip and beautiful carvings makes it a conversation piece.
