Story Behind the Art:
This piece was made in Jingdezhen (Jingde Town). It has been termed the 'Porcelain Capital' because of its production of quality china. It has a 1700-year-old history of china production. There are thousands of workshops in Jingdezhen, with generation after generation of talented artisans making their living through this craft.
