Story Behind the Art:
Daniel Xitumul is a ceramics artisan that comes from a long family tradition of pottery artisans. Daniel began to work independently in his workshop in 1990 in Rabinal, Alta Verapaz Rabinal, a village in the mountains of northeastern Guatemala. From the start, Daniel has worked diligently various clay products, from small pots to large decorative vessels, giving the most out of his creativity through ceramics. In his workshop, Daniel employs more than 15 families from Rabinal alone, which has made him an important promoter social work and community development.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
